At Thunderbird Veterinary Hospital, we’re all about making you and your pet feel at home. Our commitment to a welcoming environment is reflected in the broad range of in-house services we offer, aimed at delivering swift, accurate solutions to your pet’s healthcare needs.
To kick off any diagnostic tests, a wellness exam is the first order of business. This step helps our veterinarians decide the most suitable tests for your pet’s unique needs.
Keep in mind that estimates for testing can’t be provided until one of our veterinarians has met your pet in person. And if you have multiple furry friends in need of testing, simply let us know when scheduling your appointment – we’ll make sure the process is smooth and straightforward.
At Thunderbird Veterinary Hospital, we strive to make your pet’s healthcare journey as cozy as possible, offering a variety of in-house services designed to provide you with speedy, reliable answers. Your pet’s well-being is our top priority, and we’re here to make their visits friendly and comfortable.
For your convenience, we offer in-house blood tests that encompass a complete blood count, general chemistry, and thyroid testing. These can be done during a regular appointment, ensuring quick and hassle-free results.
Our state-of-the-art facility allows us to snap X-rays on-site, often on the same day as your appointment. Most times, there’s no need for sedation. But if your pet does require it, don’t worry – we’ll give you clear instructions, which typically include fasting from food and water from midnight the day before the procedure.
To maintain your pet’s oral health, we offer dental X-rays. They provide a window into the condition of your pet’s teeth and gums, helping our veterinarians spot existing issues and potential problems, all while ensuring your pet’s smile stays as bright as ever.
Ultrasounds are our secret weapon for exploring the soft tissues within your pet’s body, from their organs to detecting fluid build-up and keeping an eye on pregnancies.
Both ultrasound and radiographs are exceptional diagnostic tools, each with its unique focus. The choice between them depends on your pet’s specific healthcare needs. In some cases, our doctors may recommend using both methods to complement one another, providing a comprehensive assessment of your pet’s well-being.
